I started ROC in 1991. The recruitment company I worked for went into liquidation and I was faced with two choices, start my own agency or work for someone else. I opted for the former.
ROC was borne in a serviced office in South Molton Street with no more than a credit card and a £10,000 overdraft. We are now no 160 in the UK with a turnover of over £15 million – we employ 80 staff and have over 2,500 temporary workers. In 1998 we were ranked as the fastest growing secretarial company by the Sunday Times/Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 League Table.
In 2002 I was proud to represent BAWE (the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs) and was the runner up to the Women Entrepreneur of the World at the FCEM (Femmes Chefs D’Enterprises Mondiales) in St Petersburg, Russia.
ROC started as a specialist secretarial and administrative recruitment company. We have now expanded into the finance, legal, retail, design & technical and casino and leisure sectors. We also operate an Executive Division.
Our bright, modern, open plan offices are located in the West End with
plans to further expand in the UK and overseas in the future.
Our future success will be built on maintaining lasting relationships and focusing on every contact with clients and candidates to create profitable growth.
