I was first introduced to the ROC temps team 3 years ago as an antipodean looking for temp work whilst on my working holiday, and I have to say that ROC are by far the most supportive and proactive recruitment team I have ever been involved with. Within two days of my registration, I was on my first assignment and since then I have never been without work. During my time with ROC, I worked at some incredibly fun and diverse places such as Madame Tussauds and The British Bankers Association. I quickly learnt that if you throw yourself into your role you will thrive and be asked to return. Wendy and the team at ROC have supported me during my time at ROC and been extremely helpful and efficient in finding me work. In fact, I have been working full time for a month and a half in a job that was only supposed to last a week! I first temped for ROC in 1998. I eventually went to a role for 2 weeks... and 9 years later I was made redundant! I went straight back to ROC and registered again. What delighted me was the fact that I recognised so many familiar faces, including the glorious Jools, and they remembered me. I have not had an idle day ever since. With one of the biggest temp desks in London, I would not consider temping for another agency. And I know, when I finally want to look for a permanent job, ROC will find me the right job for me. At my age it is not about skills, my skills are never in question, it is about fit. ROC puts the right candidates with the right clients. It's a win:win every time!
