Job Purpose

The Head of Managed Accounts plays a crucial role in leading the team that manages our client portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulations, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the business whilst promoting the workplace values.



Main Tasks & Responsibilities
* Overseeing the Account Management function and leading the AM team
* Implementing short and long-term strategies for increased client retention, improving client relationships, and driving revenue growth from existing accounts
* Leading interactions with the most strategic accounts. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to suggest product or service improvements responsive to client feedback and industry trends.
* Reviewing and improving key elements of the department such as sales messaging strategies and customer journey
* Establishing data collection and monitoring processes that accurately reflect the status and health of accounts and suggest tactical response.
* Coaching, supporting, and developing the team, monitoring their success and conducting regular performance reviews.
* Facilitating targeted action plans to resolve issues and maintain client satisfaction.
* Keep abreast of the latest trends, regulations, and advancements in sustainability to guide their continuous improvement efforts.

Skills & Key Requirements
What we would love to see from you:
* Demonstrable success in account management environments, building and developing strong client relationships, preferably in waste management or facilities management sectors.
* Broad knowledge of corporate approaches to sustainability and ESG.
* Analytical prowess and a talent for transforming data into actionable insights for our customers and AM team.
* Development of in AM Team train plans and internal engagement programmes.
* A sharp mind attuned to commercial and financial details, with strong experience of forecasting and reporting.
* Multitasking maestro! Your project management skills will keep us on track as we tackle multiple initiatives with finesse.
* Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
* Team player who contributes to the ongoing development of junior professionals, through coaching.
* A strategic thinker with an attention to detail, creative and forward thinking, with ability to read and interpret instructions carefully.
* Confident with CRM software and related sales processes, as well as MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential).
* Demonstrable experience in managing and delivering concurrent projects with great attention to detail.
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to travel and work flexibly.
