The recruitment process
From the initial call to ROC, you will speak with a senior consultant who will take your company and contact details, as well as a brief overview of the skills you are looking for. You will then be passed to a consultant who is best positioned to partner you in your recruitment process. Your dedicated consultant will then arrange a convenient time to meet with you to understand your business (if time is on our side), to discuss the role in detail, including the experience and skills required to be successful in the role. Terms of business will need to be agreed, which we can tailor to your specific needs, depending again on volume of business and other factors. Once your consultant is clear as to your requirements and you are happy to progress, it is at this stage that we should put some time in the diary to interview your shortlisted candidates.
Your consultant will then return to the office, discuss your needs with the rest of their team and gather hand picked candidates, specific to your requirements. All candidates will have been through a rigorous testing process, a full competency based interview and screening beforehand. Your consultant will then speak with each selected candidate and if they are keen to be presented to you, they will then be put onto the shortlist. Once a final shortlist has been selected (normally approx 5-7 candidates) our appraisals and their CVs will then be presented to you via email for you to review.
Of the candidates submitted, we do recommend you see all of them, as we will have already screened and qualified them for you. This stage is for you to meet and discuss your business needs and plans with each candidate and consider them for the role.
Following the interview process and once a candidate has been selected, the verbal offer of employment will be presented via your ROC consultant to the candidate, a potential start date will then be discussed and paperwork can then be sent to the candidate, for signing.
That concludes the recruitment process, but we continue to stay in touch with the candidate until they start, to ensure that they are happy with everything and they do not get counter-offers from elsewhere.
