Registration process
Candidates are the core of our business and we place a high emphasis on retaining high calibre personnel.
40% of our candidates register with ROC via recommendation from either clients or candidates.
How to register with ROC
Registration at ROC is by appointment, however walk-ins are always welcome. For temporary work, please call the Temp division on 020 7629 6001 and for permanent roles, please call 020 7318 1400. Alternatively you can also email your CV to info@roc.co.uk and one of our resourcers or consultants will call you to arrange an appointment for you to come in to register. You will then be sent a confirmation email with details of your appointment, along with directions to our office. We will also attach a registration form, which you can complete before you arrive.
What will the registration process involve?
When you arrive, you will be asked to sit in our reception area and complete some registration forms, before meeting with a consultant for a competency based interview. Your consultant will talk to you about your CV and employment history and will want to spend some time getting to know you and your job requirements.
What will I need to bring?
You will need to bring your passport, National insurance number and your bank details (for temporary work) along with references from previous roles.
Will I have to do any tests?
You will need to be tested skills MS Office packages, so we can match your skill set to a suitable role. We test our candidates on copy typing, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as spelling and grammar.
How long will the registration process take?
The registration process will take approximately 1.5 hours if you do the MS Office tests in our office rather than online.
Can I register in my lunch hour?
If you are in a rush and can only register in your lunch hour, we can email you our registration form and you can also complete our assessments online. Interviews last approximately half an hour. However, if you are taking the assessments in our office you will need to allow an hour and a half.
Our service and relationship with you
At ROC, we work hard to enhance your CV by working with you to provide you with the best job opportunities. We offer you an approachable and hands on service. You will have at least one consultant (depending on whether you are looking for temporary and/or permanent work) who will keep in touch with you and aim to meet all your needs, every step of the way. We really want you to enjoy your roles and become part of the ROC team. We also offer our temps and clients a standby service, whereby temps wait in our offices 'on standby' for work that day.
