Our client specialises in the very best of menswear, from legendary Bespoke tailoring to exceptional ready-to-wear collections featuring sophisticated separates and sportswear and immaculate business suiting.

Overview of Role

To represent the brand through delivering a high level of customer service and clientele management in order to encourage repeat spend and brand loyalty. To act as an ambassador of the brand in line with business goals and achieve sales targets as outlined by your line manager, supporting the overall growth and profitability of the store.

Main Responsibilities

Sales

*Increase sales by selecting products to meet customer requirements whilst highlighting the features & benefits of the product and by offering related products wherever appropriate.
*Support the store to achieve company budgets through the achievement of your KPI targets.
*Protect the company's profit by selling stock accurately.
*Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products within own business; use this information to meet the needs of the customer.
*Give accurate and current information about the product; if the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an accurate answer.
*Handle refunds with responsibility and integrity and turn them into sales opportunities.

Made to Measure

*Regular update and feedback meetings with your Manager and Buying team, suggesting alternative cloths and provide feedback through customers' comments.
*Accountable for the full MTM fabric introduction, measurements, garment trial, alteration, order entry, after sales service and customer collections.
*Thorough knowledge of ready to wear and MTM products as to inspire customers' trust especially with regards to providing technical competency in MTM and styling advice.
*Be responsible for communication to customers and regional store teams on all MTM products.
*Update Manager on ongoing basis on MTM business, training requirements and other opportunities.
*Take ownership for weekly and bi-annual stock takes and follow up on any discrepancies.
*Customer collections to be managed through pushing the completed orders weekly and updating on overall plan to drive trade.
*Diary management and dealing with general Bespoke and MTM enquiries.
*Administration of tailoring time sheets, payments, customer orders, deposits and WIP.
*To ensure all items which are to be posted or couriered are dispatched within agreed time frame.
*To use our customer data base to help organise all customer incentives, events and compile best spenders lists.

Service

*Welcome and acknowledge customers as they enter the store.
*Have excellent product knowledge, providing accurate information of the features and benefits to the customer.
*Determine the needs of the customer and deliver supportive advice.
*Maintain a high level of personal presentation in line with company dress code, as well as good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt service requirements to the customer.

Communication

*Speak to staff and customers with courtesy and respect.
*Handle any complaints with a positive and proactive approach.
*Build productive trusting relations with colleges and customers.

Operations

*Ensure the store is kept clean and tidy, ensuring it adheres to company standards at all times.
*Understand and execute company policies and procedures.
*Adhere to store scheduling, arrive to store ahead of shift, ready to start work at your rostered time.
*Ensuring all stock counts are completed regularly and you adhere to Health & Safety policy.

*Average Transaction Value (ATV)
*Units per Transaction (UPT)
*Customer Relationship Management (CRM or Clienteling)

Requirements

*Ideally 1 year's retail or sales experience, preferably in the luxury industry.
*Have a basic understanding of selling principles and customer service.
*To be fit and able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
*Confident to approach and interact with customers.
*Experience working with tailoring or ability to outfit build and style.
*To have a basic understanding of Tailoring, made to measure & Bespoke services or ability to learn it.
*Proficient in English.
*Basic level of Mathematics.
