The successful candidate will report to the MD and Founder of the company and be responsible for freeing up the day-to-day responsibilities in order to enable her to strategically grow the business. The MD's role is principally to identify the strategy of the business, its wider sales and marketing, identify new clients, ensure existing key clients are continually nurtured and finances.

Your role will be split into many parts and will include;
*Full P&L responsibility to ensure that the business meets its growth and profit targets
*Manage the sales team
*Manage internal recruitment.
*Manage the pipeline, progress on vacancies, candidate talent attraction strategy,
*Manage internal training and monitoring.


*Manage daily consultants KPI's and activities to ensure that the maximum number of vacancies and temporary assignments are filled.
*Establish discipline and routine with regards to daily and weekly meetings.
*To review and develop induction, training, knowledge and passion for the brand.
*To promote a healthy competitive and sales driven culture.
* Identify strategies prior to client visits and use the visits as a training opportunity for consultants.
*To communicate and take responsibility for new recruits individual targets.
*To ensure all staff have appropriate contracts and pay plans in place.
*To induct and monitor new staff from on-boarding through to completion of probation.
*To introduce new business when possible.
*To negotiate, promote and ensure as many clients remain contractually connected to ROC
*Review designated existing clients - ensure PSL terms and agreements are in place.
*To ensure that client satisfaction reviews are carried out regularly by consultants and that any issues/complaints are followed up.
*To ensure that fees/margins are reviewed and increased where possible on a six monthly basis.
*To ensure as many clients as possible are sole or preferred suppliers.
*To manage individual consultants to ensure the appropriate levels of service are delivered.
*Track and follow-up unfilled temporary bookings/vacancies
*To identify lapsed users that can be re-generated and to identify new business both for you and the BDE to win.
*To identify tender opportunities and other potential bulk business opportunities.
*To discuss tender opportunities with MD so that the most effective strategy can be identified to produce the tender as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible Identify and inform MD of suitable events such as breakfast talks, corporate hospitality, large group lunches etc. and assist with ensuring a high level of attendees and a smooth operation.

*To ensure that KPI's for candidate registration are exceeded.
*To ensure that the candidate experience is positive and constructive.
*To negotiate contracts with job-boards.
*To ensure that allocations are on job-boards are distributed.
* Ensure relevant on-line and off-line advertising activity is carried out for roles and temp bookings.
*Track candidate attraction in terms of cost and effectiveness.
*Review use of resourcing staff - internal and external.


*Ensure at all times that quality, cultural and legislative adherence is met
*To deputise for the MD in her absence
*To ensure the business is "opened and closed" on a daily basis
*A pro-active member of the senior management team
*To always act in the wider interest of the business
*To ensure that others are encouraged to work in the best interests of the Business and embrace the Company beliefs, aims and mission.
*Identify PR and marketing opportunities.
*Forge strong relationships with clients at senior level, build business network.
*Maintain and grow market reputation with all staff, clients and partners
*Report to MD on organisational plans and performance
*To take full responsibility for ensuring legislation is complied with.
*Address issues such as consultants not complying with company policy ie reference checks not being done on temporary workers, inaccuracies in standard letters etc.
*Responsible for all quality control (clients and candidates)
*Attend monthly sales meeting and run where appropriate
*To attend meetings as appropriate for a member of the senior management team

Knowledge & Experience:
*Educated to minimum degree standard or equivalent in business management, MBA
*Minimum of 4 years management experience within the recruitment industry
*Sales and negotiation experience at senior level
*Proven track record of achieving targets
*Change and senior management experience
*Experience in training, mentoring and coaching staff

*High level of professionalism and charisma
*Ability to drive and monitor sales activity
*Able to influence and lead the team
*Very well developed organisational and time management skills
*Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure of tight and conflicting deadlines
*Ability to analyse data, trends and reports.
*Ability to interpret and implement client agreements
