A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join this leading Global Property Company based in Central London.

You will be part of a team within the accounts department and report into the Sales Ledger Manager.

Key responsibilities:
*Working as part of a team of 2 people producing invoices from accounts systems. (Tasks are rotated on a weekly basis - to give a more varied role)
*Reviewing and authorising all invoices submitted
*Processing all credit notes and any amendments required to drafts and invoices
*Dealing with any queries arising from the production of invoices
*Processing of fees raised from Lettings departments
*Preparing appropriate journal entries which may be required (double entry)
*Ensuring that all 3rd party payments are passed to Purchase Ledger
*Ensuring all billed write offs are processed
*Allocating BACS and cheque payments
*Monitoring the foreign exchange account for payments cleared

Experience, skills and knowledge required:
*Full understanding and practical knowledge of Sales Ledger function
*Strong organisation and time management skills
*Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
*Excellent communication skills
*Thorough and accurate, with a close attention to detail
*Knowledge of SAP, desirable not essential
