The Chief of Staff will have an operational mandate to ensure that direct sales costs are managed to plan and that departments operate efficiently. To recruit, manage and supervise Business Managers / Senior Administrators. Candidates must be comfortable with interfacing with senior stakeholders, P&L forecasting and managing budgets.

Leading Business Management:
*Ensure consistent and efficient Business Management across designated departments.
*Support Division Heads/Department Heads in ensuring all Departments operate
efficiently.
*Have overall responsibility for cost management including departmental expenditure,
T & E spend, direct sales costs and consultants costs.
*Have overall responsibility for margin control and ensure that the Business
Management team operate at all times in accordance with Corporate Governance.
*Work with Division Heads to support expansion into new markets as necessary.
*Have overall responsibility for working with Business Analysts on financial
information, including
*Monthly forecasting
*Generation of Actuals
*Preparation of annual financial plan and budget
*Prepare and present regular financial reviews to Departments and Division Heads.
*Provide ongoing updates to COO
*Hiring, Contracting and budgeting departmental consultants
*Lead regular meetings with Business Managers and SNR Administrators.
*Attending and managing departmental meetings as required.
*Work on company initiatives and projects as directed


Qualifications
Skills / Competencies / Experience

Educated to degree level (Postgraduate Business-related qualifications are an advantage)
Experience of managing a team is an advantage but not a pre-requisite
Enthusiastic and pro-active with a flexible, forward thinking approach
Ability to communicate at all levels, to present information and influence behaviours/culture
Energetic and persistent
Well organised with good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
Good interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a busy team
Able to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion
A second European language would be an advantage
