Be part of a growing company in luxury lifestyle, looking to expand into UK and international airports in the duty-free sector. They are now looking for a Head of Retail based in London, to set up the stores in duty-free.
Responsibilities:
- Owning and developing the retail strategy which is to open a series of standalone units in UK and US airports.
- Working with a visionary business owner developing a new and unique product range.
- Responsible for this new project from working with the board and investors to set up business plans and financial forecasts right through to opening the units.
- Ability to assess the retail environment/climate and competitor activity to anticipate issues and provide proactive solutions.
- Developing best practice in order to ensure that the brand is continually developing, and standards and customer expectations are continually exceeded.
- Recruiting, motivating and engaging teams.
- Ensuring that the customer experience is being consistently delivered.
- Proactive building succession plans and talent mapping to ensure the development and promotion of employees.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years proven track record as a Consultant or Senior Manager in the duty-free sector.
Highly motivated, can do attitude, ability to drive results, creative and extremely well presented. Must be able to travel internationally extensively.
