We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join this Technology Firm based in the City on a 12 month FTC. The contract is to cover maternity leave.

You will report into the Head of Finance & Operations and assist with all financial aspects relating to business operations and will manage and lead a small finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the month end process
*Completion and finalisation of the monthly board pack, including accurate and detailed analysis of the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital
*Preparation of the year end statutory accounts for all legal entities within the Group
*Ensure that physical and nominal stock is fully reconciled every week
*Preparation/review of monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts and quarterly VAT return
*Manage the team which includes Finance Assistants and Credit Controller, ensuring all work is carried out and completed accurately and to deadline
*Implement and manage the weekly rota for the team
*Assist the Head of Finance & Operations with the preparation of annual budget and forecasts
*Assist the HR & Office Manager with the preparation of payroll data
*Drive change to enhance the efficiencies of the finance processes

Experience, Skills and Knowledge required:
*ACCA/ACA/CIMA Newly Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE
*Experience of working in a high - pressured finance department
*Experience of working in a sales focused company
*Previous Finance Team Management experience is essential
*Advanced Excel skills
*Working knowledge of Opera II (Pegasus) would be advantageous
*Excellent communication skills at all levels
*Strong attention to detail, highly accurate
*Proven ability of working to tight deadlines
