Established city technology company is looking for a dynamic HR/Office Manager to implement and manage the HR function within their business.
This role is a 1 year FTC
This is a busy generalist role and they are looking to identify someone who can wear lots of "hats". Specifically, you will support all areas of recruitment, payroll, compensation and benefits, employee relations and compliance and safety. On a day-to-day basis, you will also support Directors and Managers in the management of employee relations matters.
You will report directly into the CEO who is really looking for a visionary HR manager with high emotional intelligence who can help shape and grow a positive working culture. As a member of the leadership team your role will a be high-impact within the business and as the company prepares for its next growth phase there will be a strong emphasis on the management, maintenance and motivation of their human capital.
Additionally, you will also:
*Manage all recruitment activities
*Conduct periodic performance management reviews
*Recommend employee benefit programs/enhancements
*Support line managers with training and development plans as well as performance
*management
*Resolve employee conflicts and grievances by providing consultative advice and
assistance
*Identify areas for improvement for employee engagement to drive a positive work
culture
*Support budgeting processes for staff and HR
*Work with Finance Controller to manage the monthly payroll cycle
* Supporting budgeting process for departmental budgets and HR.
Operational Management
Management of the smooth running of the office management function.
Manage the security of the office (access keys, fire drills and health and safety compliance).
Supplier engagement and contract management
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
*Ideally degree (or equivalent) in educated and part or fully CIPD qualified
*Proven experience of working in a hands-on HR generalist capacity
*High emotional intelligence a real passion for implementing and fostering a positive
and dynamic work culture.
*A hands on approach and a can-do attitude
