Seeking a Payroll Manager for a European Retailer based in Paris. You will report directly to the Head of Payroll and partner closely with HR, Finance Managers. You will also continue to drive process improvement.
The role will be remote 4 day a week with 1 day per week in the Paris office. Happy to consider candidates who will relocate.
Key responsibilities:
*French payroll 300 employees
*Have a good understanding for French employee law.
*Responsible for running payroll.
*Point of escalation for all payroll queries.
*Processing a high volume of data and reporting, ensuring accuracy and providing clarity over any errors
*Liaising with key stakeholders - HR, payroll providers and finance
*SLA management with Payroll Providers
*Improving efficiency and streamlining processes
*Processing income tax, social security, pension, statutory leave etc.
*Processing pay reviews, stock options, Salary Sacrifice etc.
*Assisting the Global Payroll Manager with implementation projects

Key requirements:
*Previous experience in a senior payroll position
*Minimum of 2 years of experience with international payroll
*Excellent knowledge of income tax, social security, pension, statutory leave etc.
*Experience with Payroll and People Software (ideally ADP)
*Experience with Google Suites (Drive, Sheets etc)
*Knowledge of Jira and SQL
*Strong Excel Skills
*Fluent French
