The Role
Based in GB as the field based, customer facing Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:
· Researching and building relationships with potential new customers
· Maintaining current business relationships.
· Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels
You will be working with the Technical Sales, and Operational teams within the business to deliver competitive and high-performance shredding solutions to new and existing customers.
The Person
You should be:
· Customer focus - Ability to put the customer first and to grow sales through customer relationships.
· Results focused - Sales Driven, deliver on promises and reaches targets.
· Product Awareness -Is interested in learning about products and knows where to find the relevant information.
· Strong influencing and negotiating skills - The ability to influence key decision makers, but also to encourage sales behaviours and the delivery of sales-based projects amongst your peers in market.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
· Strong commercial acumen and business understanding

Criteria:
· A minimum of 2 years' experience in business-to-business sales working within the waste/ recycling and/ or engineering sectors.
· Enjoys and thrives in pursuing business opportunities.
· Strong commercial acumen.
· Exceptional communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Proficient in use of MS Office software
· Full driving license
