 To review the TWM service offering and exploring new business opportunities to manage gaps and enable the
TWM team to maximise sales opportunities.
 Demonstrate a strategic approach to hit targets and develop sustainable growth.
 Ensure a thorough knowledge of current marketplace and the industry to enable innovation and
development of new initiatives, and the opening of new markets.
 Regularly reviewing our service offer to provide regional and national services of suppliers, ensuring additional
coverage and reactive services are available.
 To develop collaborative partnerships with subcontractors, in line with our client's requirements and company
values, vision and mission statements.
 Develop strong trading agreements between and customers/suppliers, identifying service
improvements, monitoring KPI's, revenue, profitability and debt.
 Negotiating financial & service improvements with suppliers to increase overall margins, cost savings
 Explore innovative solutions which will benefit our customers, increase sales and profitability of the division
whilst ensuring customer expectations of service delivery are met.
 To support the ongoing development of the TWM team, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to
maximise and drive commercial opportunities.
 To provide input for annual budgets in line with strategic financial objectives.
 To liaise with the Commercial Manager regarding service and H&S concerns, and new business opportunities.
 Regular reviews with marketing team to promote services, new/existing offers, and make decisions on
discounts if required.
 Implement and manage a robust TQM system for the management of TWM supply chain.
General Commercial activity
 Attend meetings to keep up to date with existing contracts; identify development opportunities; and develop


 Attend Commercial, SI, and business updates / meetings as required.
 Liaise with operational and logistics teams to ensure deliverables are achievable, working together to achieve
solutions to potential challenges.
 To support the National Sales/New Business, ISD & Aftersales Managers and Account Managers on specific
projects as requested.
 Keep abreast of new technologies and innovations by actively researching products and establishing contacts
throughout the industry.
 Use a full range of methods to understand the waste management sectors within specified division, sharing
information where applicable with colleagues.
 Advise Commercial Manager of all known opportunities for further business developments and acquisitions
 Comply with business H&S policies and behaviours, working collaboratively to achieve continuous
improvement.
 Ensure compliance to all policies, regulation and contractual requirements.
 Demonstrate Business values internally and externally.
Skills & Key Requirements
 Excellent communication skills across all formats and levels, with the ability to engage and inspire confidence in
colleagues and customers.
 Consistently high levels of customer service and professionalism in all areas.
 Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of working within a time critical process environment.
 Extremely organised with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst delivering a high level of
efficiency and output.
 Tenacious with attention to detail.
 Flexible and adaptable.
 Commercially savvy with a determination to seek out sales opportunities and close the deal.
 A proactive and focused approach.
 To maintain a calm and positive manner, work collaboratively to find solutions to challenges.
 Sound IT and presentation skills to include demonstratable experience of producing visually effective
presentations.
 The successful candidate will have the ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our workplace values.
