Key Responsibilities

Management of fixed and mobile plant operations leading and operational teams to maximise the productivity and utilisation of processing plants
Monthly operational expenditure reviews with the Divisional MD to ensure effective cost controls are in place
Engaging with the commercial team to proactively respond to changes in customer demand and ensuring the production of recycled products are in line with the WRAP protocol and highway or earthworks specifications
Ensuring that all plant and equipment are working and maintained in line with company procedures, reporting any defects to the group plant maintenance department in a timely manner
Assist management with the identification, planning and delivery of capital investment projects
Promoting and progressing safe and compliant working practices across all operations
Managing the availability and recruitment of skilled operators within the region and motivating your team, setting clear expectations.
The Successful Candidate will:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
Experience of fixed and mobile aggregate recycling
Have experience in a similar managerial role within the aggregates industry
Have a strong technical knowledge of fixed and mobile aggregate recycling and plant.
Experience of managing a quarry and/or inert landfills is also desirable
Have strong product knowledge of recycled aggregates including highways / earthworks product specifications
Have a WAMITAB and/or NEEBOSH equivalent qualifications
Have good communication, organisation and team working skills
Be looking to develop a long term career with the Collard Group
