To ensure the Station and all staff fully comply with all legal requirements, policies and procedures including health and safety and waste management licence conditions, and all contractual obligations relating to the current Waste Management Services Agreement and any sub-contractual or supplier agreements.
To ensure that all documentation, both statutory and company are correctly completed within the required time scales including the preparation of accurate reports for senior management.
To effectively manage site staff by providing leadership by example to maximise their daily contribution and potential insuring that all plant and machinery operates efficiently to achieve all daily contractual and commercial requirements within budget parameters.
To establish, maintain and communicate effectively with clients, customers and all internal company departments to achieve beneficial working relationships.
To effectively manage the resources within budgetary and authority limits available relating to the business in order to achieve required financial targets.
The Person

The successful applicant will need to have held a supervisory or managerial position in a similar business environment, be able to demonstrate experience of profit responsibility and man management skills.

The ideal candidate must also be prepared to participate as an active member of the London Transfer Station Management Team and be flexible in their approach.
