You and your sales team will manage all existing and new customers, track the market and spot potential new opportunities as well as delivering the growth expectations for existing opportunities.

We are looking for the successful candidate to be responsible for:

Managing and developing the sales team who is responsible for generating new business in the region through proactive targeting and business development
Recruitment and building of a team to deliver significant growth on the South Coast and Oxfordshire areas.
Developing and delivering the sales strategy.
Preparing volume and ASP budgets in conjunction with the finance team and setting KPI's to ensure that targets are met.
Preparing monthly sales reports for presentation at the new divisional monthly meetings chaired by the Divisional MD.
Negotiating and implementing price increase strategies.
Mentoring and developing a proactive customer service team.
Developing supply chain relationships and negotiating long-term price agreements.
Analysing technical data and identifying product solutions for our customers
Liaising with Operations Manager to ensure that we meet customer product production requirements.
We are looking for the preferred candidate to have the following attributes:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales management role, ideally this should be within the aggregates and/or earthworks sector
Ability to present at a senior level and lead a sales team
Strong product knowledge of recycled aggregates with an understanding of highways and earthworks specifications
Understanding of Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) and EA permit requirements
Excellent IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel)
Be an excellent team player, with the ability to work under pressure in a demanding commercial environment
