Recycling Specialist UK

RESPONSIBLE FOR END-OF-LIFE WASTE CONTAINER SOURCING ACCROSS THE UK.

Aligned with its sustainability commitment, (manufacturer of wheeled waste containers) is increasing the recyclable plastic consumption in its manufacturing process. Therefore, they are looking for an End-of-Life plastic municipal waste specialist, responsible for sourcing material and organising transport.

The main responsibilities for this role will be:
*Sourcing end-of- life containers at end users and negotiating purchase terms.
*Look for new UK based recycling suppliers and partners (transport, milling, washing, and packaging)
*Managing the entire process from container sourcing to processing the recycling material ready for consumption, according to technical specifications.
*Document checking and cost control processes (delivery notes, invoices, transport documentation)
*Assuring the supply chain traceability (quantities and status of the source material throughout the inward supply chain)
We are looking for a highly motivated and tenacious individual with at least 3 years' experience in direct sales and negotiation. Experience in dealing with municipalities / councils is necessary for the role. Degree qualification in science / environment and/or plastics related studies would be advantageous.
