Global City based research company has an exciting opportunity for a training manager to join the Learning and Development Department. Reporting into the Head of L&D this is a very autonomous role where you will help formulate/design and deliver the training content that is given to the global research team. The company are launching a new training academy to provide ongoing training to new and existing employees to give them the tools to be first in class.

Job function:
*Works closely with research function, academy working groups and L&D team to design
and deliver an innovative learning programme and all course material. This role will
project manage the early stages of the programme creation through to roll out and
evaluation.
*Leads the creation of the competency framework and the development of the Academy
curriculum
*Partners with internal subject matter experts to design blended modules using the
70:20:10 principles
*Works with external providers where necessary
*Ensures the smooth delivery of the academy 2
*Facilitates the delivery of modules as well as coaches colleagues to
deliver/facilitate with impact where required
*Upholds consistent quality of learning and excellent participant experience
*Works closely with the L&D Business Partner and L&D officer to create content and
use the learning technology in place to offer a truly innovative and creative
approach
*Continuously reviews delivery of the academy and makes improvements
*Collects and reports on collective and individual participant engagement and
performance data
*Analyses data and provides insight on the impact of the academy
*Flags any performance issues and offers support pathway

Candidates must be experienced trainers and be fully fluent in writing and delivering the content.

Essential skills and qualifications

*Relevant experience of working in a similar L&D programme design and delivery role
*Creative approach to design and delivery of sessions and implementing blended
learning solutions across 70:20:10
*Established training and facilitation skills, including virtual delivery
*Project Management experience - ability to operate and lead a project through all
its stages, from inception to completion and review
*Stakeholder Management - ability to manage requirements, helping to clarify needs
and priority, and managing expectation
