We are currently working with this Top 100 Practice who have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
You will be responsible for being the main point of contact for the outsourcing team and establishing, developing and maintaining a working relationship with them ensuring the delivery of work within deadlines and to meet client expectations.
Key responsibilities:
-Working with Accounts Managers and outsource team
-Preparing pack of information for outsourcing, including budget approval
-Presenting accounts to managers with a complete set of accounts and minimal queries
-Liaise with Tax Department and deal with any queries
-Liaise with clients
-Work with outsource team and client to clear review points and supervise adjustments to the accounts if necessary
-Review outsource team's work
-Be aware of developments concerning client affairs and identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients
Experience, Skills and Knowledge required:
-Qualified ACA/ACCA
-Strong technical knowledge including solid accounts experience gained within a Practice
-Experience of working with a variety of clients
-Experience of producing Management and Statutory accounts
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Strong IT skills including Advanced Excel, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero and Caseware
