My clients are looking to hire an Operations Coordinator to join their Residential Valuations team based in their head office in central london.



You will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient support service to the Residential Valuation & Advisory department, ensuring the smooth running of a busy department and supporting the Department Heads and have the following responsibilities:



New Starters:

Liaise with Facilities Team to organise building pass for first day.
Tour of the office / building including staff facilities, fire exits, notice boards.
Complete First Day Induction presentation on the Intranet.
Confirm attendance to Head Office Induction Week.
Organise welcome lunch / drinks with the team / department.
Identify training strategy and mentor Department / Office Heads.


HR Responsibilities:

Working with the Recruitment Team to target potential recruitment sources (through personal contacts, local competitive agents, current staff contacts etc).
Recruitment of Non Fee Earners within region
Diary management.




Facilities Management:

Communicate amendments to Department Heads and compliance to offices for the following:
Fire safety procedures.
Health and Safety procedures.


Financial (on a Sub-Divisional basis):


Expenditure on a monthly basis (travel, advertising etc).
Identify cost saving initiatives and cost effective methods within the RV&A.


Business Development:


Regularly visit offices to develop relationships with all staff.
Regularly feedback to and meet with support staff, Office Heads and Department Heads to review offices and their issues / training needs.
Reviewing any IT issues across the department and escalating to our IT support team.



Professional experience and personal skills profile



2+ years' experience in a similar role
Candidate with an ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to communicate with others in a professional and helpful manner both face to face and on the telephone.
Ability to command authority and multi-task and prioritise workload.
Good standard of English grammar and spelling, and takes pride in presentation of work.


Qualifications/Education Required.

IT Skills, Word (Advanced), Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Outlook.

Flexible, adaptable, and cooperative with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Have the necessary organisation skills to provide an efficient support service to the region.
Dedicated, loyal, diligent and punctual with a tidy manner.
Well presented with a clear speaking voice.
Hardworking, attention to detail, resilient, able to take initiative and be pro-active, self-motivated.
Teamwork.
Able to work under pressure
