Join this global FTSE 100 company looking to recruit a Client Accountant to oversee a portfolio of properties within the Prime Central London lettings network. It will be the Client Accountant's responsibility to deal with both Client and Management Accounts, as well as resolving client, tenant and departments queries and other general accounts duties.
Responsibilities
Preparing monthly/quarterly reports for investor Landlords
Internal reports: Budgets, forecasting & Income reporting.
Release tenant deposits.
Process Lease Renewals;
Process Tenant verifications;
Assist in preparing Management Accounts;
Resolve client, tenant and office queries on invoicing, fees, NRL, etc.;
Reconcile any relevant Suspense Account items within 3 months;
Investigate and clear any legacy Landlord/Tenant/Supplier balances;
Train and support other members of the team;
Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications/Education Required.
The candidate will have a qualification within the accounting environment at least up to degree level.
Minimum 5 years accounting experience at least 2 years in a similar role.
Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Good understanding of Double Entry Bookkeeping & Trial Balance.
Going above and beyond to resolve client queries professionally and politely.
An eye for detail and the ability to use initiative.
Ability to work as a team and support with other staff members.
Good Excel skills.
